This policy explains what information HeliTourFinder collects when you visit this site, how it is used, and how bookings made through Viator are handled separately from this site.

Information we collect

HeliTourFinder is a browsing and comparison site. We do not require an account to use it, and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details ourselves. The only information we store directly is a small preference cookie that remembers your chosen currency (for example USD or AUD) so prices display consistently as you browse. This cookie holds no personal information, is not shared with anyone, and expires after one year or whenever you clear your browser cookies.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for every visit, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and performance purposes.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here. The first time you visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject this; Google Analytics only runs, and only sets its cookies, if you choose Accept. If you reject it or close the banner without choosing, no Analytics script ever loads and no Analytics cookie is ever set. Where Analytics does run, the data it collects may be combined with data Google holds from other sites and services; it is aggregated to help us improve the site and is not used to personally identify you. If you email us directly (for example through the address on our Contact page), we will see whatever information you choose to include in that email. We use it only to respond to you and do not add it to a mailing list without your permission.

Booking through Viator

When you click "Check availability" or "Book now" on a tour, you leave this site and complete your booking on Viator's platform. Any personal or payment information you provide at that point, such as your name, email, traveler details or card information, is collected and processed by Viator, not by HeliTourFinder. Viator's own privacy policy governs that information, and we encourage you to review it before booking.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies. The currency preference cookie described above is strictly necessary for the site to display prices consistently and is set regardless of your cookie choice. Google Analytics cookies are not necessary for the site to work and are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies or ad retargeting on this site. You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings, and you can change your Analytics choice at any time using the button below.
